Trees bear harvesting fruit 30 months after field planting, while being a perennial crop with properly managed fields make them a year-round uninterrupted source.

Palm trees can produce fruit for approximately 30 years.  At their end of life, plantations will cut the trees, shred & mulch them to use as fertilizer mulch for the next crop with regrowth within 6 months and next harvest in 30.  Therefore, air pollution is reduced by completing in this zero-burning process

Palm oil producers, the Malaysian government and the Federal Land Authorities, working hand in hand have been able to resettle landless farmers thus to create a thriving work community which then evolves to a better country economics, healthcare, infrastructure systems etc.

With international and environmental protections, rainforest’s can now be more protected and saved as oil palm plantations are more effective for production and just as effective for carbon dioxide absorption.

Comparing to other common oils such as sunflower, rapeseed & soya bean, palm oil is the most efficient to be able to extract.  We can take comfort in knowing that our candles are manufactured with a safe, environmentally conscious product of palm oil from Malaysia.
